The SSS E-Center was launched in Sumi Philippines Wiring Systems Corporation () Philippines at Hermosa ecozone.

The MOA was executed between SSS and SPWS on June 20. SSS was represented in the signing by Vice President Vilma Agapito for Luzon Central 1 Division and Balanga Branch Head Joel Y. Villafuerte. SPWS, on the other hand, was represented by HRGA Vice President Czarina Lapuz. Balanga Branch Acting Assistant Head Victor S. Villanueva witnessed the event. Villanueva said SPWS employees now do not need to be absent from work to avail SSS services.

Around 5000 regular and contractual employees of SPWS will benefit from the project. Villanueva added they trained the SPWS personnel who will man the SSS E-Center. He said they hope to conduct more orientations to other locators in the ecozone to establish the center.
